Katie and Liam’s autumnal wedding at Didsbury House Hotel

Katie and Liam met whilst working at a summer camp in Spain, back in 2013. Later that year, Katie moved to Manchester and the couple dated for a couple of years before moving in together.

The pair got engaged on a beach in West Ireland, which was a really special spot for Katie as it was somewhere she’d spent a lot of time as a kid, whilst visiting her large Irish family. Liam had to go through the ‘aunty test’ before being accepted into the family - thankfully he passed and so the couple were able to set about planning their big day

Katie and Liam didn’t want lots of photos of them getting ready on the day, so asked if they could just book me for a few hours to capture their ceremony and wedding party. I joined them at their venue, which was the beautiful Victorian townhouse, Didsbury House Hotel, near Manchester, in time for their 4pm ceremony.

It was a really nice family-focused wedding and Katie and Liam are such a lovely couple. They had a beautiful sunny autumn day, and the late ceremony time meant there was a perfect dappled light for their photographs. There were fallen leaves all over the ground at Didsbury House Hotel, which gave the most amazing autumnal backdrop. So even though I was only with them for a short time, we were still spoilt for choice for beautiful images - here are a few of my favourites:
